I HAD NO IDEA!  Did you know that sheep produce their own anti-venom!!!

As I was reading about sheep, I stumbled on an article written by a man who lives off the grid on a farm.

Luna, one of his sheep came to him with a swollen head and neck.  It appeared that she had been bitten by a snake!  He noted that Luna seemed unphased by the bite and swelling.   Concerned, he did some research to make sure she would be OK.

What he found was startling!  Sheep have a natural immunity to pit viper venom!  In fact, the anti-venom you take if you get bit by a rattlesnake, copperhead or water moccasin, CroFab, is a purified product made from the anti-venom found in sheep’s blood!

Luna was perfectly fine from the bite after only three days.  Luna is telling us something!

When John the Baptist saw Jesus coming toward him, he said, “Behold!  The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” John 1:29. Remember, that for hundreds of years, the Jewish people brought lambs to the temple as a sacrifice for their sins.  But, ‘It is impossible for the blood of bulls, (lambs) and goats to take away sins.’ Hebrews 10:4.

God sent us His Son Jesus to offer Himself, the perfect Lamb of God, as the sacrifice to end all sacrifices ‘once for all by His own blood’, obtaining for us eternal redemption. Hebrews 10. Being the ‘Lamb’ of God, He had spiritual anti-venom flowing through His veins.  The devil (the serpent) could wound Him, but he couldn’t kill Him!  This is evident from the prophesy found in Genesis 3:15. God declared that ‘He, (Jesus) will crush your (the serpent’s) head, (a fatal blow) and you (the serpent) will strike his (Jesus) heel’, not a fatal bite!  The anti-venom served its purpose, HE ROSE AGAIN!

Guess what!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are one of God’s sheep, you have ‘received Him (Jesus) and believed in His name’, John 1:11-12, then you are a child of God and the blood of Jesus which contains this anti-venom is flowing through your veins!  Yes, the serpent can bite you, but there is no way he can kill you.  You also will rise again!

Now, the scripture, ‘They triumphed over him, (the devil also called the serpent) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony’ found in Revelation 12:11 makes sense!

You can triumph over the serpent because you have the blood of the Lamb containing a spiritual anti-venom flowing through your body!  You don’t have to fear him anymore than Jesus did.

And you can triumph over him with the word of your testimony!  Words have power!

What do you say to him when he bugs you?  You give him your testimony saying, “I am a child of God! Jesus lives in me and He defeated you on the cross!”   Quote the word of God to him like Jesus did when He was tempted by the devil.  Tell him, ‘I am more than a conqueror’ Romans 8:37, ‘thanks be to God, which always causes me to triumph in Christ.’!”  2 Corinthians 2:14.  That you have ‘submitted yourself to God, are resisting Him in the name of Jesus, and HE HAS TO FLEE FROM YOU!’ James 4:7.

GOOD BYE!
