Did you ever really look at dew. I mean the on your knees kind of looking. Every drop of dew has an image in it. (See photo above). Look closely and you can see yourself! Of course, you are upside down. I wondered if perhaps this is because God, from His position wants to see you right side up!!!
Just a thought.
Dew drops are like minicams recording everything around them!
EXTRAORDINGARILY, God is always watching you! He is omnipresent, everywhere at once.
He was watching me even before I knew Him and delivered me from death!!!!
Isn’t that extra, extra extraodinary!!! (See my re-posted ‘What a Croc!’ if you want to read about it!). I added it as my last post.
Would people do the things they do if they knew they were being watched?
Think about this scripture! ‘Surely, in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.’ Proverbs 1:17 Like those who snatch packages off your porch. “Oh, if I keep this up, I will really get ahead!” WRONG. God sees what they do, and I am sure He grieves as you and I should over someone who will reap exactly what he sows! The scripture makes this very clear.
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.’ Galatians 6:7.
Again, ‘Whoever digs a hole (for you to fall in) and scoops it out falls into the pit they have made. The trouble they cause recoils on them; their violence comes down on their own heads.’ Psalm 7:15
You gotta feel sorry for them.
The good news is, like the dew in the morning, God has a whole host of angels watching over you, IF ‘you have made the Lord, the Most – High, your dwelling place’. IF you ‘set your love upon Him and know His name.’
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.” Psalm 91:9-16.
In the words of an old hymn, ‘His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches over me.’
I took a picture of myself in a drop of dew and was inspired to write this poem:
What sees the morning dew
Small jewels lying still
Await the sun burning
Come destroying
All that’s pictured past.
How can it contain
What man’s given it to see?
No wonder it disappears
And is renewed on the
Morning grass. MRB
When you think that you are alone, God is watching. He see’s everything and one day you will be judged for your actions.
