AQUARIA.

I was standing in front of an aquarium watching this beautiful Angelfish and I had a thought, believe it or not!  And wrote this poem:

AQUARIA.           

Golden angel
Aquaria sustained
There you are…no
There you are

Radiant beauty
Grace
For me
So dependent upon
Another’s hand

Do you know this
Do we?                                                              

The child in the above photo is contemplating the fish in a gigantic aquarium.   I wonder if he thinks about how all these fish are so dependent on ‘another’s hand’?  Do the fish?  Do you?  They are in an aquarium.  An aquarium by definition is a ‘transparent tank of water in which fish and other water creatures and plants are kept.’  New Oxford Dictionary.  The fish are being ‘kept’.  Again, the dictionary defines ‘kept or to keep’ as having or retaining possession of, to provide for the sustenance of, provide with a regular supply of a commodity, own and look after for pleasure, own or manage, guard and protect.  If they aren’t ‘kept’, they would surely die.

We’re not in a literal ‘transparent tank of water’, but we are on Planet Earth which, if you look at the photo below. looks like one astronomical aquarium, or terrarium as it were.  Just one a whole lot bigger!   The atmosphere surrounding our planet is transparent like the glass on an aquarium.  Who put us here?  Who is ‘keeping’ us?  Is someone watching us through the transparent atmosphere?  Do they ‘own’ us?  Are we put here for their ‘pleasure’?  Do you ever take the time to think about it?

YES, YES AND YES!  God put us here.  He ‘created all things, including you and I, For His PLEASURE!  Do you believe it?  ‘Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are, and were created.’  Revelation 4:11. KJV.

He created this ‘astronomical aquarium’ just for us!  Or did it just happen?

The oscillation of the atom is another of David Pack’s list of ‘Absolute Truths that God exists!’  

Ask yourself, who set the electrons in motion?  Who keeps them moving?  How can they possibly oscillate so accurately that man can base a clock on them and only lose one second in 6 MILLION YEARS!

OR:

‘Beautiful Protection’!  You can read about the Aurora Borealis, proof that God ‘keeps’ us by placing an invisible magnetic field around the earth to protect us from dangerous solar radiation.

You can read the Bible, your owner’s manual and find that this God who exists loves you, found pleasure in creating you and the earth He made for you, that He promises to ‘keep’ you.

I think the problem is, we just don’t want to think about it.  We get lost in our own lives in the midst of our ‘astronomical aquarium’, SO MUCH TO DO, SO MANY PLACES TO GO.  Like the fish, we just wander around our aquarium, not even considering how ‘dependent we are on another’s hand’!

‘Only a fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”  The LORD looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.’  
Psalm 14:1-2.

Why?  Because we are surrounded by proof that He exists!  Everything in ‘The Book of Nature’ points to His existence, you, the planet we live on and His ‘keeping’.  

Does He find pleasure in you?  It takes faith to please Him!  ‘And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.’  Hebrews 11:6.  Faith that He exists.  Faith that he loves and cares for you.  He is worthy to receive glory and honor from you, if He does, He will be well pleased.  

‘Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the LORD.’  Psalm 107:43.

‘Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.’  Psalm 107:8-9.
