A GLIMPSE!

‘This is my Fathers World’.  “Oh yah?”  Yes, God created the world and everything in it, but it is now under the dominion (control) of the devil.  Look around you, watch the news.  Whose attributes do you see?  Yes you see God’s attributes, ‘The invisible things of God are clearly seen in the things He has made’, Romans 1:20, but we also see the attributes of the devil, killing, stealing and destroying.  This is not the world God originally created.  The world has been perverted by the ‘God of this world’, 2 Corinthians 4:4, the devil who has come to ‘steal, kill and destroy’.  John 10:10.   He is now the ‘prince of the power of the air’, Ephesians 2:2, ‘the God of this present age.’  It is he that has caused animals and man to kill each other.  Jelly fish to sting you, tornados and tsunamis to destroy you and your property.  

IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE THIS WAY!

The following scripture is a glimpse of what the world will look like in the future and what I believe He created in the beginning before it was perverted by the ‘God of this world’.

‘Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.’  Revelation 21:1.
‘The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. 
The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. 
THEY WILL NEITHER HARM NOR DESTROY ON ALL MY HOLY MOUNTAIN, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.’  
Isaiah 11:6-9.

Thank God that He did not allow the devil to pervert everything, we can still see ‘Glimpses’ of the world He created and how it will be in the future where ‘THEY WILL NEITHER HARM NOR DESTROY’!  It sure makes you want to be there, doesn’t it?  A place where you can hug a polar bear, kiss a fish or pet a hippo!

You will be able to kiss a fish!  The image above shows a scuba diver, Hiroyuki Arakawa kissing his friend Yoriko, a Sheepshead Wrasse.  What???  He is featured in the first YouTube video listed below.

Hiroyuki first met Yuriko 25 years ago when he was supervising the building of an underwater Shinto Temple Gate in Tateyama Bay, Japan.  The fish was badly injured and couldn’t feed itself.  So Hiroyuki fed her five crabs a day for 10 days.  They became fast friends.  That is the way it should be!  Hiroyuki said ‘it gave me an amazing sense of accomplishment in my heart!’ 

The other two videos will warm your heart as you see humans and animals become friends and animals that would usually attack each other ‘Odd Couples’ not only become good friends, but ‘fall in love’!!!!

My favorite story is about the couple who adopted a baby hippo separated from its mother in a flood.  The hippo bonded with them and now, fully grown, comes in their house and has dinner with them!  LOVE IT!    

Don’t forget, ‘The hippopotamus is a very aggressive wild creature and is the deadliest large land mammal on the planet. It is estimated that hippo attacks kill 500 people each year in Africa. It is not only their size and weight that makes them dangerous, but also their very sharp teeth!’  Discover Wildlife.

And remember that for those who have accepted Jesus we will not only be able to pet a hippo or cuddle with a lion, but God said, ‘He will wipe away every tear from our eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 

Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘

BEHOLD I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW!’  Revelation 21:4-5.
