Do you realize that your eyes have over two million working parts?
That your eye contains around 107 million light sensitive cells?
That it contains 7 million cones which help you see color and detail?
That is contains 100 million rods which help you see better in the dark?
Each eye is connected to the brain by more than one million nerve fibers.
(And I thought wiring my car was difficult).

The eye is the second most complex organ in your body!
Your eye can process 36,000 pieces of information in a single hour.
Your eye can differentiate 10 million different colors!
You blink your eye 4,200,000 times in a year!
Your eye was placed in a socket for protection against injury.
Your eyelashes help keep out the dirt that could damage your eye.
Eyebrows help keep out the sweat from your brow.

Why did God make your eyes so miraculous?
Because He made you in His image and likeness.  He wanted a relationship with you face to face!  As it was with Adam and Eve in the beginning, it will be for you if you know Him.

For now (in this life) we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then (in the next life) we shall see (Him) face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 1 Corinthians 13:12.
Of course, you have to die first!  It will be worth it!

He also gave you eyes that can not only see and enjoy what He has made, 10 million colors, but hopefully ‘SEE HIM’ in what He has made and want a relationship with Him while you are still alive!
Romans 1:19-20 ‘What may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.  For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.  Romans 1:19-20.

If you think about the eyes of other animals, fish, insects and birds, you realize that their eyes were created to meet their specific needs.  Special eyes to see under water, see in the dark, see like the eagle, objects a mile away.  So it is with your eyes.  They were created specifically so that we could see God in what He has made in this life and see Him face to face in the next!

OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE HIM!
