YON MOON!

The Irish actor, Collin Farrell said, “I’ve never seen a moon in the sky that, if it didn’t take my breath away, at least misplaced it for a moment.”
The moon, what an inspired addition to the night sky!  But what would the moon be without the light reflected from the sun?  Not much.  Just a dark blob.

This is a huge lesson seen around the world.  Did you ever think about it?
You are a ‘reflection’ of who God is!  You were ‘created in His image and likeness’.  Genesis 1:26. It was, however, God’s intent that you would be like Him in every way, as it was in the beginning, spiritually as well as physically.  As I have said many times, your spirit was cut off from God because of the fall of man.  Genesis 2:17.                               

God sent His son Jesus into the world to rejoin your spirit to God.  He is the ‘one mediator between God and mankind, the man, Christ Jesus.’  1 Timothy 2:5. And ‘he that is joined with Him is one spirit.’ 1 Corinthians 6:17. This joining, this ‘rebirth’ makes it possible to reflect Him in every way!!!

Like the moon reflects the sun, those who know Him, reflect Him, the SON.
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, (like the moon without the light of the sun) but will have the light of life.” (His light, the light of the SON).  John 8:12.

As Christians, we are called to reflect Him…HIM.  Christians are called the light of the world.  We are called to reflect Jesus so others would see and want Him.  Are you a quarter moon, a half moon, a three-quarter moon or a full moon, a full reflection of the light of Christ?  Everyone loves a full moon, and they’re going to love you when you light them up with the love of God!   

Thank God that it is possible to be more like Him every day!
The scriptures say, ‘But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.’  2 Corinthians 3:18 NKJV.

And who wouldn’t want to be like Him?  What an opportunity!  He loves unconditionally, He forgives every sin, He is perfect peace, He is incredibly creative, He is Just, full of joy, He is longsuffering, He is gentle, He is good, He
is full of faith and faithful, and a billion other things.

What would this world be like if we were all
FULL MOONS!
