The book of Job tells us to ask the beasts, etc. questions because they can teach us.  He didn’t, of course, mention the coronavirus because he couldn’t see it.  (No access to a microscope).  Oh, but it does exist doesn’t it.  It is our ‘invisible enemy.’  What can a virus teach us? Ask it and it will tell you, “I want to kill you!  You need protection.                                          

Your body is wonderous and has its own built in immune system.  White blood cells defend you against certain bacteria, viruses, cancer cells and infectious diseases. 

It’s smart enough to fight!

What about you?  You now know from the Corona that you have an invisible enemy!  Do you know how to fight an ‘invisible enemy’?  Do you realize that the scriptures can teach you how to fight?  And the fight is spiritual (invisible) not physical.

Paul, speaking to the Church at Corinth, said, ‘The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world (physical weapons).  On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish (spiritual or invisible) strongholds.’  2 Corinthians 10:4.  In other words, those who believe have special spiritual weapons!  These weapons are designed not only to fight the coronavirus, but the evil one behind it.  As the scripture says in 1 John 5:19, ‘We know that we are the children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.’  The one who ‘comes to steal, kill, and destroy.’  The one who brings sickness, disease, murder, mayhem and destruction to this beautiful world God created.  You need to learn how to fight!  One preacher says that we only suffer from what we put up with!!!!!!!!  WOW, what a statement!

What are some of these spiritual (invisible) weapons?

WORDS!  God created the world with words, didn’t He.  He SAID, “let there be light and there was light!  Words are extremely powerful.  What are you saying these days?  Are your words positive and filled with faith or negative and working against you.  Don’t be ‘Snared by the words of your mouth.’ Proverbs 6:2.  Do you know the word of God?  Do you know His promises to those who believe in Him?  Do you speak them?  

To His ‘dear children’, He promised that ‘the one who is in them (the Holy Spirit) is greater than the one who is in the world.’ (the evil one) 1 John 4:4.

That ‘no weapon formed against them will prosper.’ Isaiah 54:17.

That ‘they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them.’  Romans 8:37.

And especially concerning the coronavirus, ‘He will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.  He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.  You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.  A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.’  Psalm 91:7.  What a promise!!!

Be confident that the ‘words that go out from (God’s) mouth will not return to (Him) empty, but will accomplish what (He) desires and achieve the purpose for which (He) sent them.’  Isiah 55:11. 

Believe in God and His word.  Study the Bible!  Remember, Hosea 4:6 makes it clear, ‘my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.’  Speak His promises daily and create a future for yourself that is a fulfillment of His words for you!
